Do it Now! ... please??
Although we've barely taken off our Halloween costumes and haven't quite yet finished off the candy, and Thanksgiving lists of where we want to go and who we want to avoid are hardly yet complete, I need you to do something VERY Christmasy for me in the NOW. Today, even! ASAP!
PLEASE!?!?
While you're in the grocery store, picking up stuff at Whole Foods tonight, running into Target, Wal Mart, The Dollar Store or picking up Yum's at the Bakery .... PLEASE .... Stop and pick up at least ONE Christmas Card to send to Kandahar!
You don't have to write them your life story, although I'm sure they'd be glad to read it. All you have to do is say "Come Home Safe" or just a simple "THANK YOU".

You don't have to mail it NOW. (wait until the day after Thanksgiving!) But PLEASE DO IT NOW!
Soon all of you will be busy with your holidays lists and you won't have time for this! If you do it now and mail it later (plus I need to check & see if mailing letters takes extra postage) it'll be GREAT! You'll have done a really great thing & Kandahar will be filled with Christmas Joy!!
Also, stop by Dayngrs and send an email to the troops! It all helps!!

Excellent idea! I can't emphasize enough how much this means to a servicemember. I saved the cards I received while in Iraq. I know Danny's guys will loving getting the mail.
